Each of the fighter subclasses has a specific code as part of their requirements. Any player with one of these subclasses MUST have a code that includes the below specifics AS A MINIMUM. Players may opt to have a more complex code above and beyond these requirements.

Knight

  • Honor your word.
  • Honor your lord.
  • Service creates strength, strength brings justice.
  • The role of the strong is to protect the weak from those who would injure them.
  • Truth is a weaponas great as your sword, your honor is your greatest shield.
  • Never bring shame upon yourself or your lord.
  • Cowardice is shame, but a knight who dies foolishly rather than nobly is equally shamed.
  • Never break faith with a friend or ally.
  • The sneak attack defines a coward.
  • Life is to be celebrated, death for the knight should only be for service. Undeath is a mockery of life and is to be eliminated.
  • Treat all other knights with respect. Shun those who don't live up to their ideals.
  • Combat is between warriors, not fought from a distance. Use your sword, not the distant arrow.

Dark Knight

  • Honor and Serve your master. He made you what you are.
  • Courage reigns above power. Power reigns above tolerance. Tolerance is weakness and leads to downfall.
  • The sword hand is sacred. Never let it falter. Do not strike off the hand of a knight who has proven himself courageous, the coward's must be destroyed.
  • Never break faith with a friend or ally.
  • Defend the domain your master entrusts to you.
  • Death is to be embraced and honored. Deliver to death those who are weak and no longer of use to the strong.
  • Teach your own kinndthe ways of the dark paths to power. Destroy those who would destroy you or deny your existance.
  • Existance is the right only of those strong enough to end the existance of others.
  • Truth is a tool, but you may not lie.
  • The sneak attack is the definition of a coward. A knight does not kill with a dagger in the dark.
  • Treat all other knights with respect. Shun those who do not live to their own ideals.
  • Combat is between warriors, not fought from a distance. Use your sword, not the distant arrow.

Ranger

  • Honor the natural world and the laws of nature rather than the trappings of "civilzation". Protect natural creatures but recognize natural law and natural selection. All of nature must eat.
  • The druids are allies and can serve as teachers, but they are not necessarily your masters. Service to them is your choice.
  • The traveler in the wilderness may warrant your attention. Assist those showing respect who may need your help; moniter those who seem to have knowledge, to ensure they do not destroy; and deter or hinder those who have no concern for the land from which they take.
  • Money is necessary for some interaction with the world of people, but do not search out or hoard wealth. Barter where you can. Donate to a greater cause-not your own- that which you can not use imediatly.
  • Do not leave a trace of your presence any place you stay. Give only a small item by whichto remember you to those you trust.
  • The land is your home, but not a keep or cabin. Stay in those places only briefly and only when necessary. Never shall you own one outright.
  • Decide who you will serve remembering the earth is your final master.
  • You are the most noble of knights so be humble in your dealings with others.
